Grain Division

The Grain Division began life as an online radio station. We began broadcasting on May 10th 2003 as an experiment in sharing our alternative musical tastes; the best mix of alternative rock, pop, prog, folk, indie, punk, psychedelic, blues and americana 24/7 drawing from a huge catalogue of contemporary excellence, vintage classics, obscure beauty and unsigned Featured Artists.

We are based in Leeds in the UK, an exciting city where music thrives and as such successfully branched out into running live music events in 2005 and continue to be dedicated to supporting new original music.

We also run a nice recording space in Rodley, Leeds named Grain Division Studios as well as a PA hire service.

These are The Grain Division's monthly presentations....

1st Thursday - THE EMERGENCY MEETING @ Carpe Diem
3rd Saturday - GRAIN DIVISION @ Carpe Diem
We also co-host the THE MAD HATTER'S TEA PARTY @ Santiago
As well as one-off events.

The Grain Division all-dayer is on Saturday 17th August.
